#raspberrypi #technology #homelab #diy
Over the past year I have been building my Home Lab out and really have a great time. Today, I am introducing my new series on building your own home lab. We will cover the hardware required, networking, software, and skills that you will need in order to take the power back.

The benefit of DIY ing your own server stacks in order to host you own services. This way you don’t have to pay for services like Spotify, or Google Drive, and most importantly, you don’t have to share any of your data with them as well. And did I mention, its a blast to learn a long the way and how freaking cool it is to have your own lab to experiment and host your own personal and private services that you can share both inside your home and out? Yea well if your a nerd or geek like me, or perhaps a brogrammer, well CHAD this one is for you!

Don’t be afraid, I knew very little a decade ago, but using the raspberry pi, and pulling on some of my past I.T. experience I was able to easily build and complete my lab. Over this series I will walk you through all the steps, and installs, in building your very own home lab!
