  1. I regret getting the Logitech so much! I miss the apple folio keyboard that previous generations had instead of this Magic Keyboard. The Magic Keyboard isn’t great for lap use and you can’t fold the keyboard back to use like a tablet but keeping the keyboard on it. The Logitech is not good for using in lap either and you can’t even use it very well on a tv stand because with the keyboard out and the kickstand folded out it is longer than most tv stands. The touch pad on the Logitech feels like something that would come on a temu product. Any suggestions for a keyboard case similar to the Apple folio cases previous generations of iPad Pro had?

  2. I have to say the Combo Touch is good, and honestly I’ve had no palm rest issue people complain about. The case is actually amazing. However, when it goes to actual typing experience, etc, I find the Magic Keyboard 203012031 times more comfy, something about the footprint of the Combo Touch that requires more space for my hands to be on the desk. Trackpad on Magic Keyboard is defo better overall.

  3. Excellent video and info. I have one on my 13” M4. One glaring disappointment is the lack of a “cage” for the Apple Pencil. While carrying the combo, or putting it in a bag, the Pencil likes to dislodge. Otherwise, this is another example of Logitech’s great design. Pricey but worth it. Thanks.

  4. Love the review so thank you! A small remark in this “user friendly” world regarding the port size on the side – if some cables don’t fit, just take a mild file to it and that will solve the problem… It won’t really show and that will make the difference between a keyboard case that actually protects your iPad while allowing to use it with or without keyboard, at any angle you want, at a much lower price, compared to a single-use overpriced accessory mostly justified by “you know how much I paid for it”…

  5. OMG…what to hesitate…if you able to pay for the iPad Pro M4 price…just grab the Magic Keyboard it’s the best experience…
If you really need to go gym or shopping with your iPad (actually I don’t understand the needs of that if you have an iPhone), just put the iPad in a silicon cover and go.

  6. Our company has developed and designed a dedicated keyboard for iPad Pro 13, which is currently in need of testing usage. If any friends need it, they can contact me for fr

  7. Just returned my combo touch because it was broken (almost 2 yrs old). Would not connect any longer, probably the internal flatcable (in ‘hinge’ in keyboard part at the point where it connects to the upper part). Used it with pleasure, but I think the flatcable is THE weak point in this stand. For me enough reason not to buy it again.

  8. Great review, thanks. A friend of mine just got a brand-new iPad Pro 13-inch and the Magic Keyboard. She ended up returning the keyboard because the big iPad would NOT stay magnetically "stuck" to it for regular use. I tried it a few times as well… very frustrating. Will definitely check out the Logi.

  9. 12:48 USB ports on Apple Magic Keyboard: side for data, but power only at the one on its hinge.

15:33 Logitech combo is a two-piece: detachable keyboard and the flat back. The two pieces are held together along the keyboard's magnetic strip.

On the back of the iPad, there are those 3 little dots. I have no idea why, but they are described as "pogo". Anyway, both the Apple and Logitech match these to where the iPad rests.

// Separating the keyboard from Logitech combination interrupts the connection to the pogos: No juice to keyboard, no talk between iPad and keyboard.

QUESTION: In olden days, were the connectors located on the side of iPads? In what year and on which iPad model? Were they always those pogo thingies?

  10. I have an apple keyboard on my iPad m2, dropped it and now I have a big dent on one of the corners , I have an apple care but was told by apple there’s nothing they can do because the iPad is functioning … so yup, no more expensive stupid apple keyboard for iPad for me.

  11. Thank you.
Your review was very helpful and helped me make my purchase decision.
Went with the Logitech option, mainly because of the protective case on the iPad. I frequently use my iPad alone without the keyboard. Don't feel comfortable with it NOT protected.
    Thank you again. 🎉🎉

  12. Apples Magic Keyboard also doesn’t work if you detach the ipad from the keyboard. Would be nice if there was ‫an accessory‬ to provide back support for stability of the Mac Magic Keyboard because often times if I have it setting on my lap it will fall backwards if not careful.

  13. Very nice review. I have had a combo touch keyboard on my 2021 12.9 inch iPad Pro since I bought it new. Zero problems or complaints except am I the only one who misses having a caps lock indicator on the screen? I will be purchasing the new model for my wife’s M4 iPad Pro. Thanks again.

  14. I have the combo touch for 2021 iPad Pro and just ordered a new iPad. The main issue with the combo touch is the side protection is a bit flimsy and bends over time. I’m using mine on my lap a lot, is the apple keyboard better for use on lap?

  15. I hate that Logitech doesn’t offer the Slim Folio keyboard case for the new pro. It is the most amazing and protective keycase without trackpad. But I don’t need a trackpad..

  16. No doubt i dont like the Magic Keyboard because of its inflexibility but you can actually include the Magic Keyboard lighting button in the control center at the top right of your iPad screen. Not sure why you mentioned you can’t do that?
