KITTY: Out of curiosity I tried to get kitty running and the old workaround still works. Just replace "$terminal = foot" with "$terminal = LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=true GALLIUM_DRIVER=llvmpipe kitty" in hyprland.conf and you can use kitty in this setup.
BROWSER: Regarding the rubberbanding of the cursor in Firefox I tried some settings and different Browsers and Chromium seems to handle it better. So you can install Chromium with pacman and run it with "chromium –ozone-platform=wayland" I then disabled "Use graphics acceleration when available" under "chrome://settings/system".
