It’s more than just metal and hydraulics; it’s a symphony of strength!
I hope you brought the reverse light switches back. I've run 785Ds and 793Cs the most, but I've also run 777G and 793F and it seemed to me like the newer trucks never had switches for the reverse lights in the cab. Big mistake. We depend on those to help us make our turns at the dump on night shift.
Are they EPA Tier 4 yet?
Ah yes, cruise control and 14 hour shifts, a great idea.

Just before I got injured on the job Caterpillar brought a couple I believe they were 289’s on the job to try out. Those trucks rode better than any car on the road. It was like floating on air. The cat trucks we had was I think they were a 777 cab with a swivel in the middle 150 ton bed. Them trucks injured every truck driver on the job. You hit a bump in the road and it would pile drive your spine to your neck. We tried to get the company to get the new ones but they never did. Keep up the good work Caterpillar!!
