For anyone who ever wondered why linux on the desktop never took off, just watch this video. Here, you see an expert linux user trying to install and use a linux application. Notice that even after much fiddling, using the command line, the thing still fails to work properly. Who in their right mind would want to use an operating system where major applications that you depend on can be completely disabled simply because some self styled genius working out of their parent's basement decides to "update" a dependency?
I think LM Studio just released an update, allowing for local image upload in a chat session.
What if I select to download the ggml-model-f16.gguf instead? Will it make any difference?
