  1. OMG, I was 20y/o, my grandma lived, my father lived, my dog lived, I was healthy and strong and my future ex was around the corner, but I didn't know and didn't care, as I was running around in Duke Nuke with a rocket-launcher!

  2. I remember those speakers! They were amazing back then. I also had Trident card to play Panzer General in 800×600. However, 486 wasn't best for Duke (unless it was DX4 100MHz). Pentium or K5 did better job.

  3. I had the weirdest introduction to gaming. In 1999, my parents bought me our first console… Boootleg NES with Super Mario Bros and Super Contra. In 2001, we got our first PC – preloaded with Duke Nukem 3D abd Virtua Cop 2. This might be why I have such nostalgia for Dos games though I never had a Dos PC.
