2020 Audi R8 V10 Performance Review – Should You Buy One Over a GT3?
With used prices under $180K, is the 2nd gen facelifted R8 V10 Performance the most logical choice for a street driven supercar?

Great review, although I disagree with your assessment of the gear selector. Itβs one of the best in the industry, in my opinion. Also, this car is best experienced with an exhaust and the windows down, which I donβt believe was the case here in this video.
Probably get a 570 and even save some money
As a former GT3 and current 2023 R8 owner, I regreted the change — regreted that I didn't do it sooner!!! All the haters can't afford either anyway
Sweet ride! π
991.1 GT3RS >
Waiting for that 997.1 GT3RS review. Much more interested in that over this R8 ngl.
R8 is a little too serious for my liking. TT-RS would do me just fine – sounds and looks very similar.
The answer is no. They don't hold their value and not as special as the GT3. However, I would pick the Gen 1 over the Gen 2 any day.
Not sure about supercar status. Itβs cool, but not super cool. I think in the same segment at M8/GT63, etcβ¦
Rs 3 better than both π
Short answer, no. You work it out very quickly if you (a) drive it around town and (b) try to go on a road trip with a friend.
So sad whatβs coming of the car industry
Not sure if a mid engine supercar makes sense unless its a great involving drive or race track monster maybe except boulevard cruises. The NSX OG was involving, the C8 is a track monster. Not sure where this fits in and sales numbers vs the 911s reflect that.

God, this car needs a manual box so badly. Such a shame Audi made no manual gen 2 R8s. What a pity.
I would get a new z06 for 120k with warranty and gm maintenance costs.
If this gets closer to 100k used itβs going to be tempting though.

Nice review Fenton!π
