You have to be in Windows insider program to be able to download the not yet released 24H2 that should substantially increase performance for Zen 5 CPUs and Zen 4 and apparently it benefits also Zen 3 5000 series as well, but AMD and Microsoft have released an optional windows 11 update KB5041587 on Windows 23H2 that allegedly includes the necessary performance uplift for AMD CPUs from the 24H2 version(which I'm using in this video) but I couldn't see any performance difference in Wukong or Horizon Forbidden West on 5800X3D.
I see more performance but also more temps for the cpu, also more wattage for the cpu/gpu, and less use of ram
Now 3900x and 3950x Benchmarks would be nice!
I think my Ryzen 9 5980HX Laptop should also see an improvement
Seem like zen 4 and zen 5 benefits the most
Well, a lot comparisons of 23H2 vs 24H2, but what about Win 10 22H2 vs 24H2? I think Win 10 gonna win this.
Hi there! I've seen my fps drop by about 5-10% in Dying Light 2, can you confirm that?
W video, if u had fortnite could u test that
Test mw3 warzone but in a CPU bound scenario, not worth it if your gpu limited
When doing cpu testing, it would be nice if you weren't GPU bound.
Did you download more FPS today son?
i wonder which one is like windows 10
So it has performance uplift on Zen 3 CPUs as well though small.
Any idea how this compares to the latest Windows 10 version/beta version?
Its right at the point where it looks like run to run variance, but still could be an actual improvement. did you do multiple runs to verify, or just this one?
so to get this we need to install normal bloated windows with copilot on it? fuuuck..
howcome you're testing in mostly GPU bound games? Try some more CPU limited games like CS2 or warzone.
Waiting for the update on windows 10. Or doesn't it have the same issues?
Free FPS is always good, we have the same CPU and GPU, I have a 370 motherboard though so hoping to see the same gains.
Although testing cyberpunk using the built-in benchmark is far easier and gives more consistent results, it can be really misleading as it doesn't push the CPU very hard. I can go from 90-100fps to barely 70fps using a 5600 when going into city centers
5700x3d gets it I suppose as well?
