My pc also seems to have issues restarting after doing a driver update while secure boot is enabled after this update.
This is why I have automatic updates disabled on my Win10, so I was able to avoid this. My opinion on secure boot is muddy at best. My personal opinion is I understand the purpose, but I think it only matters to enterprise level of computing.
Mint is my main driver anyway, I barely boot into windows at all except to use Adobe, which is getting rarer thanks to the alternatives on Linux.
