Is Windows 11 ‘Recall’ AI Still a Thing?
Microsoft apparently has nothing to share currently on Windows 11 Recall AI’s further development:

Without Recall, Copilot+ PCs would only offer the link to the Copilot PWA, which is available on any PC. The entire brand would be dead on arrival.
1. Must have been a ton of negative feedback. As always, it'll return as a stealth rollout.
2. I'm not happy with how Windows 11 has to be installed through Rufus on older machines, even those that support bitlocker and TPM 2.0. Win 10-11 both run fine on older machines. For now. Makes me think there's something huge they're planning to run in the background that would cause obvious stutters and freezes on older processors, or with less RAM.
3. Not happy with the 24H2 update that will rip out Windows 11 and replace it with "Windows 11." That's not an update. That's a reinstall.
4. Not happy that a Windows 12 is coming out next year that's incompatible, yet again, in the same way they forced us off Windows 7 (that had a lot of backward compatibility with older programs). Does the 24H2 reinstall have something to do with it?
5. Not happy with how much Windows has increasingly hidden its configuration settings. Even something as simple as copy and paste is hidden. Only tech enthusiasts would care enough to spend hours figuring out custom installs and doing debloating. Why is Microsoft making average Windows users give up on ever trying to find and change settings? (Same as Youtube makes it hard for the average person to find his own posts.)
6. Don't want or need Artificial Idiot. If I did, I would buy the Qualcomm ARM machines. But I wouldn't anyway because they're immature technology, with too many bothersome glitches.
7. Don't want or need touch-screen support or tablet mode. Never wanted my desktop to have giant colored squares on it like a tablet.
8. Enough. I did fresh reinstalls of Windows 10 on the family machines, backed up with drive images.
Who says a Windows Recall Feature is Useless?
Recall is good feature
People backlash is not fair
They used Google and other free service which steal each of people's action
But the think recall is threat.
Google messager know all your bank OTP
Chrome know your password
Android algorithm know your context
So why people doing privacy awareness drama .
It's hypocrisy 😂
I would try Recall asap if I could! I’ve been amazed by the fascinating possibilities and the exciting future implied by this edge-cutting future.
I think that Recall AI is gone as we are already standing just 1 month behind for the rollout of 24H2 feature update and there are no workarounds as the idea was not good enough to justify taking screenshots every 5 seconds and saving it locally. I don't think that even a copilot+PC has such a kind of storage.
