Brocade VM Insight together with SANnav Management Portal provides the visibility required by virtualized environments to identify culprit applications that may be causing adverse impacts to neighboring applications due resource contention or unexpected spikes in utilization. It helps provide a magnifying glass into the physical link to extract all virtual machines sharing the connection in turn allowing users to pinpoint the exact VMs causing issues without having to guess or migrate VMs in hopes of a remedy. The SAN telemetry Brocade provides at an individual VM level further equips customers with the information required for better understanding of impacts and to land on the root cause of issues. Some storage vendors already support VMID today while others are working towards introducing VMID support.
