Targa Florio 73 – GPS-Based Version for rFactor 2!
Abulzz has so graciously brough the ambitious GPS/Lidar Targa Florio 73 from Assetto Corsa to rFactor 2. And although its presented as an ‘early beta’, it stacks up very well with the current Assetto Corsa release!
But much is on the Horizion as well, with impressive screenshots of future Photogrammetry, and a short scan-based version already being available for Assetto Corsa, the future of the Targa Florio is only going to get more accurate from here!
So go on and support Abulzz if you can, I cannot wait to race on this version in the future!

I would love to see this guy narrate a race from ride 4 or ride 5 that he does himself because that would be pretty entertaining
What a passion project. Thanks for the update.Your content is always informative and entertaining
isn't it a bit tricky to get a realistic "as-it-was" version of this track from Lidar? last time the Targa Florio was run internationally was 51 years ago. modern data wouldn't really reflect that, I fear.
Your videos always motivate me to experience these great tracks …..
I'm tempted to ask them if I could port it to beamng, but the beamng players would expect the whole area populated, and is too much work lol
oh wow you really fired me up now lol. Thank you so much mate for the kind words.
on the other hand, I'm really feeling the pressure right now to not disappoint 😆
Thank you!
This is exciting!
No shame in canceling after donating a measly dollar? After all his work?
Can't wait for your next more in depth Targa Florio video
Doing it ONCE is such an undertaking. Doing it three times, with each version adding more fine detail? I mean, one has to wonder whether Abulzz is man or machine….
There is a piece of me, despite knowing how crazy the task is, that hopes someone is insane enough to attempt to map out the Mille someday. Knowing modders, someone HAS to have thought about it lol
pls the link of Alfa romeo 33/3 '70?
I love me some heel/toe braking! So fun to watch!!!
As much as I like the new update – the sound from that Alfa 33…😁😁😁
I hope you're getting a kickback from rFactor2 because I'm sure you're keeping their office lights on.
I myself NEED all those roadside objects to remind me what the next turn is like.
This is just wild!
Lovely video! What’s in your opinion the difference in physics that makes you choose for RF2 rather than AC? I’m an AC driver and wasn’t able to enjoy this track very fluently because it had some stutters although my frames are fine. Did a fresh install and hope it’ll be better. Thanks again!
I drive it almost every day
Like GPL Spa to Spa '67. The original GPL Spa is still very fun but it is nice to have a more realistic alternative.
WoW ❤
Loved that circuit a long time ago…
I'm tempted to get my wheel out again ❤
I just joined Abulzz' Patreon and look forward to see the two versions progress.
Holy Cannoli!!!
I need a computer!
Abulzz has created the finest version of any sim racing circuit up to this point, and with all the consistent amazing updates he provides there is no better value for those who care about and want to support historical sim racing.
I took a run on it last night and was so happy about it. This was the version I been waiting for. Thanks for posting your videos about this gem.
Oh man, wouldn't it be completely crazy if someone held a full distance event in rFactor 2 with this at the beginning of next year in Woochoo's 1954 WSC mod? Unless…
No Car sound means I close the video! I won't watch without game sounds!
I was so stoked to get a new Targa Florio for Rfactor 2 since it has by far the best physics for classic cars!
i left a comment on a previous video of yours last night about this…. nice to see you covering this release! <3
I was just watching a video of Jimmy Broadbent driving the Targa Florio
This makes me very happy! Can't wait to do one of the future Targa Sicilia Revivals or other events on this version once it's done!
well, hello there! first for a change.
