If you're wanting to do something similar, I have 3D models in the comments, and you can pick up some great deals on components or an entire system over at https://jawa.link/HHAug24!
That looks freaking fancy 😮❤
Hot-set inserts to make things a bit more secure/rugged…..
And this is basically the base setup for a "TRON-style NAS/VM Server"…… and I'm all for it…. sadly, "Servers belong in a rack" and no one makes RGB Friendly Rackmount cases…. yet. 😉
Cool build and very handy drive mount setup…. Technically easily expandable too if you wanted to go with a taller case for more drives….
The amount of time and effort that went into this video 👍. I hope this does well.
21:52 Wanna Bet? I am one of those that would Definitely want something like this. It gave me an idea to add an LED monitor in the front of the HD cage in the front to monitor CPU and HD temps
Love it, looks sick. You did a great job. My file server is an old customized antec dragon case full of drives.
Just finished up printing two 6 drive bays with slide in caddies for my NAS on my three deltas. Next is an ITX case. Nice job.
Like !❤
nice!
I literally LOL'd when you were pretending to spray paint the motherboard 😂
PET G makes me crazy
Corsair PSU dying almost immediately and needing RMA? Sounds super familiar. Bought directly from them and got two in a row like that. Had to FIGHT to get my money back because they were trying to insist it couldn't be their fault. Haven't bought another Corsair product since.
Now you just need to make it serve games to complete the circle of life
you really need more subs
I like the motherboard color because I think it complements th3 the black of the hard drives. It makes it look more cohesive with the rest of the system than an all white system with a b7nch of black hdds
Now play Minecraft on it!
I am in the market for something like this. Thanks a lot. I'm printing the cage already 🙂. Nice job man.
That looks awesome!!!
Fantastic build, not crazy about RGB, but this was so well done!
Yeah, I already have a gaming PC and I literally have 5 whole like actual server now so I think I prefer to rather not spend as much money on literally everything else and just dump it all into the drives😅
would love to see you get some orders for custom NAS for other youtubers
That’s awesome! I really like the RGB illuminated PCI-E device shrouds. Really cool!
Who cares if it’s “practical” or not. That build was definitely cool af. Adding those LED strips with the custom diffuser you printed was awesome! Black motherboard was definitely a good choice. You have black from the HDDs anyways, so it wouldn’t have been a purely aesthetic build regardless.
Your models are so fucking awesome man, insanely well made
I've never seen the point of wasting money on lighting inside a case. A PC is a tool for productivity and entertainment, only a poseur taking photographs for social media out to impress their peers cares what a PC actually looks like. There are far too many "fashionistas" these days playing Top Trumps with their computers as to who has the biggest numbers – most Ryzen cores, highest FPS, most expensive GPU that mummy and daddy got them for Christmas, etc. etc.
An true engineer spends the money wasted on lighting on just getting better components for improved performance – not posing around trying to get constant peer approval. My computers are for me, not for anyone else.
This looks gorgeous
It seems these days that even if you lift a rock, you'd find a message that says, "This rock is sponsored by Jawa, click the link below for more information".
I just watched 4 videos back to back that were sponsored by them.
I think they took a page out of Raid shadow legends book 😂
Man i could have used that hdd rack 2 weeks ago to retrofit my old msi case. would have made it super easy to remix and make it work in my msi case.
I really don't see why server cases and hardware can't look "jazzed" up with a few RGB Leds. I love the accessory card shrouds. Well done on this build!
My home server also has RGB and clear side panel 😄 But not as nice as this one.
Gaming Nas Server, now everyone is happy
