How to install MySQL on Windows 10/11 [ 2024 Update ] MySQL Server & MySQL Workbench Complete guide

Installing MySQL & Workbench IDE is very easy. Just follow the following steps and there you go to create your first MySQL database!! So let’s begin.

Step 1. To install MySQL & Workbench IDE first you just need to download .exe file from the following Link:

Step 2. After downloading MySQL run the .exe by double-clicking it.

MySQL is an open-source relational database management system. Its name is a combination of “My”, the name of co-founder Michael Widenius’s daughter, and “SQL”, the abbreviation for Structured Query Language.

Step 3. You need to click the License agreement as shown in the video.

Step 4. Now simply install all MySQL products as shown in the video.

Step 5. Now after installation simply create a user and connect with it.

Step 6. After making a connection now it’s time to create your first MySQL database. For that, simply type CREATE DATABASE yourdatabasename;
And there you go!!
