Repurposing VxRail clusters

Well guys, my agency has been caught with this Broadcom bullshit and pretty much stuck in a odd situation. Our Dell contract is set to expire in two months and our rep gave us the word our vSAN licenses cannot be renewed with them. We already have an existing VMware agreement concerning ESXI and Vcenter licensing good for another 3 years. Considering Broadcom will require us to renew our entire contract just for vSAN licensing is immediately a no go and Broadcom can kick sand for the rest of my life.
Engaging Dell, they have given us an option, we would convert the clusters into Dynamic nodes and purchase a powerstore SAN to connect everything. By doing this, we can still maintain Dell support and VxRail capabilities minus the vSAN functionality. The major downside of this is we cannot reuse any of the local storage we have per node, I’m essentially rebuying 200TB of SSDs just to stick with this platform.
Much as I would love to give Dell more money is there other possible solutions I could still provide a workload for the existing disks? I wouldn’t exactly have a problem spinning up 40TB local datastores but that just sounds like a nightmare itself with management. One option was building a custom SAN and just rip out the disks to fill it, run all the nodes as pure compute. Also considering Nutanix for Prism so I can keep my cluster without any hardware changes.
