Series of talks & networking sessions to help achieve gender-balance in respective Parliaments

Delegates at the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians Conference have spent the past two days taking part in a series of talks and networking sessions to help achieve gender-balance in their Parliaments.

Twenty MPs from the British Islands and Mediterranean Region have shared their experiences with an outreach event for local aspiring female politicians held at the Convent this afternoon.

The conference was hosted by the Gibraltar Parliament, which is a member of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.

Ros Astengo has been speaking to some of the MPs about some of the challenges women in politics face.
