In this session you will learn about the Linux Foundation’s emerging Project Ocre that aims to bring the cloud development experience to microcontroller-based edge devices. With code seeded by Atym, the project harnesses the power of Zephyr and WebAssembly to enable cloud-native development principles and containerization for highly-constrained devices that can’t run technologies like Linux, Docker and Kubernetes. We will walk through the overall architecture, example use cases, and fit in the broader edge landscape.
