Windows 8.1 Commercial

Windows 8.1 is an operating system developed by Microsoft. It was released to manufacturing on August 27, 2013, and became widely available for retail sale on October 17, 2013. This version of Windows followed its predecessor, Windows 8, and was eventually succeeded by Windows 10 on July 29, 2015.

If you need to install or reinstall Windows 8.1, you can create your own installation media using either a USB flash drive or a DVD. Here are the steps:

Visit the official Microsoft page to download the Windows 8.1 Disc Image (ISO File).
Make sure you have an internet connection and sufficient data storage available on your computer, USB, or external drive for the download.
You’ll need a blank USB or DVD (with at least 4 GB of space) if you want to create installation media.
Follow the instructions provided on the page to create your installation media.
Keep in mind that after January 10, 2023, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or technical support for Windows 8.1. If possible, consider upgrading to a newer version of Windows or moving to a new PC that can run Windows 11 for the best experience. 🖥️💡
