This is a tutorial on how to install a browser on the FSF approved family of operating systems, GNU/Linux. The GNU Project was made as a free alternative to UNIX before UNIX became free software. It features a UNIX-like shell (bash) and alot of other Utils to manager files, ping servers, etc just the bare minimum. In this tutorial we’ll be going through the tedious process of installing a browser on GNU/Linux, specifically the NixOS 24.05/Unstable distrobution of GNU/Linux.
