In our previous Local GPT videos, many encountered challenges during the installation process. Today, we’re presenting a comprehensive guide to ensure a smooth installation while addressing common errors.

💻 Command Steps:
* cd desktop – Change current directory to desktop.
* cd pro – Navigate to the “pro” folder.
* cd “Local GPT” – Enter the Local GPT folder.
* cls – Clear the terminal screen.
* conda create –name LocalGPT python – Create a Conda environment.
* conda activate LocalGPT – Activate the environment.
📂 Installing Requirements:
* Open the Local GPT folder, find “requirements.txt,” and inspect its contents.
* In the terminal, use dir to view all files. Confirm “requirements.txt” is present.
* Install requirements with pip install -r requirements.txt.
🔧 Addressing Installation Errors:
During the process, you might encounter a Visual Studio C++ build tools error. To fix this, follow the link provided to download and install Microsoft Build Tools. Ensure to select “Desktop Development with C++” during installation.
