Error Copying File or Folder in Windows, the requested resource is in use
“The requested resource is in use” is one of the most common errors that users face on Windows systems. When you try to move files from a PC/Laptop to an external device (HP and Flash Disk) or vice versa, you will see an error column “The requested resource is in use”.
1. Click the Organize menu on the file page you want to move
2. Select Layouts
3. Uncheck Preview Pane
4. If so, copy the file to your PC/Laptop or to your HP/Flash Disk
