Windows Longhorn Build 5600

In this video I revived Windows Longhorn Build 5600 which was compiled on 1st Sept 2006 before windows vista will be released to retailers in November of 2006 and will be released to general public on Late January to Early February 2007 and this build expires on May 31st 2007 and build revision for this build is 16384 and this is a RC1 build which means that the new breading of Windows Vista Has been taken system wide with major UI changes such as start menu taskbar file explorer etc have been finished

The following configuration to get this build get work in VMware
Note – if you want to use virtualbox then you can install in VirtualBox but the aero won’t work in virtual box
You have to use the latest version of VMware which is 16 or 17 or any other vmware version when you watching this video in the feature with these settings
Backwards compatibility with Workstation 10.0
OS set to Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition
2 GB RAM
40 GB SCSI VHD
1 CPU Core
Network attached (disabled during installation)
3D Acceleration must be enabled by the user.
For drivers, you have two options which I tested:
1. You can use the VMware Tools 12.0 tools (which is what I did in this video)
2. You can use the VMware Workstation 11.0 WDDM driver and the 7.0 drivers for system devices and audio
