Using sconfig we will update the HCI OS. Easy but necessary as the downloadable .iso file for HCI does not contain the latest patches. We also show how to identify which version of HCI you are running:
The Series:
We want to share our knowledge (gained thougout our work with customers ) on installing Azure Stack HCI on physical HW. Throuough the series we’ll install a 4 node HCI cluster on servers equipped with 6 NVMes each.
Explain network & cabeling. We will create the management, compute and the storage network. Test storage network for RDMA performance. Create the cluster. Update the cluster using Cluster Aware Updating. And do a set of benchmark test to proof the quality of the installation and demonstrate the power / capabilities of our system.
By the end of this multiple hours spanning series you’ll have the experience to install and know what to expect of HCI.
