The 8 metre 40MHz band is available on application for a licence for experimentation in some countries. Here I take a quick look to monitor FT8 activity there using a PA0RDT active miniwhip antenna feeding into an RTLSDR V5 usb dongle on Openwebrx+ running on Ubuntu 22.04 on a Proxmox server.
