Assembly timelapse of my latest project: transitioning my daily-driver virtualization host from a Rosewill RSV-L4000U chassis to the compact Sliger CX4200A case. In this video, you’ll see the process of installing the mods – a pair of exhaust fans and a hard drive shelf, along with a breadboard mount. Blog post about the project here:
Why the Sliger CX4200A?
After a local flood, I stumbled upon a discarded 26U Hoffman short-depth rack, perfect for my setup—except for the oversized Rosewill case. The Sliger CX4200A was my solution, offering just the right balance of size and compatibility for my E-ATX motherboard.

This build marks a significant step toward creating a unified, powerful system that serves as my NAS, virtualization host, and main development machine. Stay tuned for future updates and projects, including the exciting potential of a 4x Tesla P100 Ollama build!
