Learn Jenkins Configuration

Open Jenkins HomePage, Goto Manage Jenkins > System

Jenkins home directory: This is the location where Jenkins stores its configuration files and data. It is important to make sure that the Jenkins home directory has enough disk space

System Message option in the Jenkins configuration allows you to specify a message that will be displayed on the Jenkins dashboard page

Number of executors option in Jenkins configuration determines how many concurrent builds can be run at the same time

Labels option in Jenkins configuration allows you to assign labels to jobs. This can be used to group jobs together or to control where jobs are run

Usage configuration in Jenkins tells Jenkins how to schedule builds on a node

Quiet Period controls how long Jenkins will wait before starting a new build after a previous build has finished. The quiet period is specified in seconds

SCM checkout retry count controls how many times Jenkins will try to checkout the source code from the SCM server if there is an error. The retry count is specified as an integer
