When Ernest drove the all-new BMW X1 at the South African launch last year, he came away thoroughly impressed by the smallest member of the BMW X family. In keeping with the broader strategy toward the electrification of its entire product line-up, the company has since introduced an iX1 derivative and Francisco was keen to find out if the fully electric version is as impressive as its ICE powered sibling.
