Authorities say 12 people have been rescued after being trapped for hours at the bottom of a former Colorado gold mine when an elevator malfunctioned at the tourist site. The elevator was descending into the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine near the town of Cripple Creek when it had a mechanical problem around 500 feet beneath the surface. One person died in the accident

Not an “elevator shaft.” It’s a MINESHAFT. Not an “elevator.” Sheriff and press are lazy with details. Elevator shafts are NOT 1,000 feet deep. Get it right, guys!
Put a modern elevator so it doesn't break apart.
pizza ..!!! NOPE …not gonna cut it……GET READY FOR A LAWSUIT…..COMPLETEY NEGLIGIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO THESE PEOPLE.
Please tell me Al Gore isn't there hunting the Manbearpig.
Psychopath.
Wasn't he perky. Jesus.
Another Harris Biden failure. Make Gold Mines Safe Again. Trump 2024.
He sounds very casual about the loss of someone's life.
Oh no big deal, one innocent person dead, but hey accidents happen when operating this kind of equipment. 😮 So were the tourist aware they could possibly die if they chose to go down this mine in an elevator? He sounded so nonchalent about it all. Shocking attitude.
I’ve been down that mine & my claustrophobia started up. It’s a tight squeeze in a very small 5 person elevator shaft for 45min one way!! 😬 😢very sad someone died 🙏
Pizza? Kerp children out of thise mines.
Reminds me of a movie. Abuse: to take children there.
🙏
I went in that mine when I was in third grade.
O thank you, Jesus❤
35 years ago, hubs and I visited this mine. Wow!
