  1. I will rate

    Auto dark mode good

    Flow launcher good

Unison not needed windows phone link is much better or can also try Quick share from windows store

    Winaero tweaked good

    Nilesoft shell good

Dopamine not needed windows media player is better

Fx sound good if don't have any other eq tuner in pc

Arc browser its a overrated crap just use Microsoft edge or firefox

Sumata pdf nah just use just use pdf reader thats buildin Edge it can do most of the tasks

Sharex nah just use windows snipping tool

  2. Honorable mention for pdf should be "PDF Gear," which is far better than any other pdf reader or editor. For now it is free. There are a lot better options available.

  3. Good work, very insightful watched a fair few windows apps vids pretty much always suggesting the same ones. I was pleasantly surprised there was a few I'd find usefu thatl I've not heard of before. I've subbed.

  4. Fully agree on sumatra pdf, it's excellent. Adobe reader was getting slower and heavier with each update. Added bonus for sumatra, it can also open e-book formats(e-pub, mobi etc) with no issues.
For music player, Aimp is great alternative too, plus has extra tools(edit tags, convert formats to name a few).
Browser, might be called crazy, Opera always did right by me(the regular kind, haven't used gx tho).
Full video on arc, you say?

  5. PowerToys is phenomenal.

From Text Extractor, to Colour Picker, to Peek [just like in MacOS], and Highlight Cursor, to Resizing and Snapping, it just keeps getting better.

I've been using it for years now, and nothing ever breaks, because it is made by Microsoft itself.

I've never understood the fuss about Windows Search.

Just Build your own Index in the Settings App, and you'll find everything.

Maybe it's just because I keep everything organized perfectly lol.

Cause I find all the Applications and Documents I need in an instant using the Windows Search.

Tho I'll have to concede, that Spotlight is really good. Alfred also.

  6. Arc browser is very immature and poorly made on Windows compared to other browsers. It is lacking 90% of the features that make it special on macOS. There's no reason to trust a privacy guarantee when you literally have to make an account to use it, and most users report lots of lag and high CPU and battery usage. Anecdotally, even dragging the login screen of the browser on a modern powerful DESKTOP PC has a 1-second delay and uses ~10% CPU constantly. To top it all off, it is so restrictive that you need to use complicated parsing scripts to export your data to another browser, which is a classic Apple-ish move.
The best choice is to go with Zen or some other firefox fork, or just stick with Edge if you want a good feature set and don't care that much about privacy.
