  1. 🚀I decided to upload this video to clarify things about the new version of Windows 11. If you have something else to add, leave it in the comments, and remember to share the video. Also, note that issues during the early days of a new release are expected, so what I'm saying isn't any new. I'm just reminding you of what happens when a new version comes out.

  2. Thanks for the clear explanation.I was wondering why I wasn't getting the 24H2 update yet but I bought a custom made,
pretty beefy gaming PC. I call it a 'Frankenstein' PC , b/c I hand picked all the hardware according to my liking. I got 4 internal SSDs for example and so on. So it might be a while before I receive the 24H2 update.Makes sense now. Thanks !

  3. Sooo, Microsoft is useless is basically what your telling us. I've installed 24H2 on my 'unsupported' old PC, and laptop and everything is working perfectly. But my newer gaming PC that fully supports Windows 11 hasn't been offered the upgrade yet. Great show Microsoft, gee I wonder why so many people have lost faith in Microsoft. I'll just manually install Windows 11 on my supported PC, just as I did for my 2 unsupported.

  4. I'm Trying A clean install tomorrow to see how it goes. Everything is backed up as I work mainly from External drives and nothing is really on my computer. So if the fresh install of 24H32 tommorrow does not work great with all my software I'll go back to 23H2 and wait. I'm just itching and always have the latest yupdates of everythig I use. So 'll give 24H2 a try tomorrow, Thanks for all your videos. For mre it is te best regards these topics.

  5. I updated to 24H2 on my dual booted PC. I can no longer boot into my Linux distro KDE Neon 6. Problem solved – deleted windows and reinstalled KDE Neon. I don't need windows for any reason anyway.

  6. The author of the video is right and I completely agree with him. If you still don't get the update via Windows Update don't bother installing 24H2 as a clean install, just wait. For some it will come in the first days of its release, for others it will come within a few weeks. I got 4.10 on Friday after checking Windows Update. It didn't ask if I wanted to install the update, it just downloaded and installed. The whole update with downloading and installing took me about half an hour. Finally it said that the files of the old version of the operating system (23H2) need to be deleted. I did it and have been using the new build for two days now. It is important that the hardware is really compatible with the OS so that you don't have problems.

  7. the problem with 24h2 is to many privacy unknowns. i installed into my computer today so i decided to leave after over 40 years with microsoft windows and left to Zorin os. Linux is going to be my new home for better or worse. i tried for years now to talk to Microsoft to remind them of what made windows so great in the past. for you people who never tried windows 95, 98, and xp those were sme of the best days for windows. custom themes with great sounds, windows Plus when it came out. For me making your windows personal was impotent. sadly it is not today. like Mac os Microsoft tries to not just control what you install into windows but tracks you and sells your data. i have nothing to hide but Miicrosoft has gone to far and needs to be reminded that it is not the only player in the PC Operating game. I Believe that Linux soon will exceed windows and as it becomes more user friendly people will abandon windows for Linux. maybe not all but i am dammed if i am going to let Microsoft one more inch of data about my os. in windows 24h2 i learned my custom theme software can not be installed since windows blocks it. i can no longer make a local account, not all telemetry can be turned off, wondows AV can no longer be removed or turned off, and the list gown on. it is ashamed to see a once great OS be destroyed by greed. a Message to Microsoft, Linux it going to beat you and put you out of business some day. like all greats your days are numbered.

  8. Does the 24H2 have some issue like clipboard, etc, i made clean install and had it in first and i tried to do 2nd clean install and the issue is the same, is it only me ??

  9. Another thing to keep in mind: 24H2 is said to completely remove Windows Mixed Reality support, so if you – like me – have a headset like the HP Reverb G2, installing the "update" will turn it into nothing more than a (really expensive) paper weight.

  10. I'm still using Windows 10 on my laptop even though it's very powerful device and eligible for upgrade. I see that Microsoft is inclined towards making Windows 11 AI ready and they don't work on optimising the OS for the regular tasks.

  11. I upgraded to 24h2 and later rolled back to 23h2 only coz 24h2 has disabled network sharing. What a bummer. 24h2 is pretty smooth and fast but that one feature of sharing which I badly need is missing in it. And it makes no sense at all on windows disabling sharing feature like NAS, i mean what harm is that doing to microsoft. Ridiculous really, I tried various work arounds but to no avail.

  12. I had performance and blue screen issues on 23H2 even after updating my bios to latest version, so i reinstalled windows with 24H2 and everything works without problems now, only missing some features like lock screen media player and such
